Musings by Seref Arikan

I have been working in the software industry for about 10 years now. During this time I was lucky, I had the opportunity of working in many interesting projects, using a large variety of tools and technologies.

For the last five years, I have been working in healthcare informatics, and this is the field that I intend to focus on. I had the privilege of working with large healthcare information technology vendors, but for the moment, I am mostly focused on my PhD in health informatics, and I don’t see it happening with a full time job. However, just like anyone out there, I have to eat, so I do consultancy and software development, usually in healthcare.
